Due to overwhelming demand, Pink Floyd‘s David Gilmour has announced that he will perform an additional live show in Los Angeles as part of his upcoming U.S. tour.

According to the announcement, Gilmour will perform at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on Friday, October 25th, in addition to the previously announced three dates at the Hollywood Bowl (on October 29, 30 & 31) and five nights at Madison Square Garden (November 4, 5, 6, 9 & 10). These concerts will mark Gilmour’s first American shows in eight years.

The tour is in support of Gilmour’s new album Luck and Strange, due out on September 6th via Sony Music.

Gilmour recorded Luck and Strange, which is his first new material in nine years, over five months in Brighton and London. David and Charlie Andrew produced the record.

Gilmour’s touring band includes bassist Guy Pratt, keyboardists Greg Phillinganes and Rob Gentry, drummer Adam Betts, guitarist Ben Worsley, and vocalists Louise Marshall and The Webb Sisters, Hattie and Charley.
